Hair Length Check! 9 Months Natural :)

Random  length check time!! I really was not going to do one of these until my one year post big chop date but I blew out and semi straightened my hair to do a proper trim and to remove the split ends with my Splitender (straight hair required.)

Here, my hair has been blow dried on cool air at the lowest setting of my blow dryer to prevent any damage to my hair.

Just a reminder... 2 months after my big chop my hair looked like this...

And then I straightened my hair with ONE pass only with my curling Iron at 300 degrees (still in the green.) I used a heat defense conditioner after a 2 hour saturday morning deep condition, tresemme's heat protectant AND the One and Only Argan oil heat protectant. I was not straightening my hair to wear it out... so I did not mind how heavy my hair became. My #1 priority is health!

Length check time! These pictures were taken after my trim and I will return in february to show you the progress I have made :)

Thanks for stopping by!!

    1. Awww thanks! I took extra measures not to get heat damage! it actually took a lot less heat than I thought to straighten my hair- lots of heat protectants, cool air and low heat setting on the flat Iron... Just took a little bit of patience and tension from my denman brush. I have a small clip of the entir process included with my trim video that I am editing... It should be up by the end of the week! :)
