Another Twist Out Success

As I do more twist outs, braid outs, bantu knot outs and wash and gos I find that I am getting better results! I have finally figured out the products that give me good definition. Also, I am definitely begining to see visible growth since I dyed my hair. Actually the front grows at a much slower rate than the back so I have been a little frustrated with that. I have been using tea tree oil and generic castor oil on my edges and I think it is paying off. Anyway, here are some pics of my Sunday twist out.  After deep conditioning, clarifying and shampooing on saturday, I used my Cantu Shea Butter Leave- In creme (see in my hair regimen tab) and olive oil. I put medium sized twists and I got these awesome results this morning. Thanks for stopping by!

Another Hair Style Success!!

Just stopping by quickly to share another hair style! I'll probably be doing a video tutorial about this soon... but here are some pictures for now. I just combed out stretched hair (from a twist out) and this is what happened! I positioned a headband around my head so it looks like a side up do... do you like??

Bantu Knot Out Results and Outfit of the Day!

Just quickly showing you my hair and my outfit today! I went to Mass to visit some relatives...We  had a great visit. Didn't get to go to the mall but I can always go another day :)

Let's start with the hair. I did a bantu knot out and I am very proud of the results! I just put bobby pins down the sides for a Fro-hawk look!

Shirt: Wet Seal. I got this on sale at a mall in NY for like $2.00! I actually had to sew in the sides cause It was too big!

Pants: Pac Sun. On sale for $10.00 at the outlets! I just love good steals! I had some white pants which would have made for a better outfit but I wanted to be more comfortable.

The shoes are just some bejeweled flip flops. I don't remember where I got them from but I was driving for 2 hours and I wanted to be comfortable.

I wish I had more Interesting pics from my destination! I will bring you along on my next adventure! Thanks for stopping by!
